About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Dean of Education and Human Development. This role is pivotal in leading and shaping the future of the institution, with a focus on education curricula, pedagogy, interdisciplinary research, and the translation of evidence-based practices into innovative programs that advance learning and community impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing academic programs, faculty appointments, and research initiatives, as well as engaging in budgetary and institutional planning. The Dean will also be expected to foster community partnerships and maintain the academic standards of the school. Candidates for the Dean position at the company should have a terminal doctoral degree in a relevant discipline and a distinguished record of research, teaching, and academic leadership. Experience in an R1 environment is highly preferred. The ideal candidate will be an advocate for innovative pedagogies, interdisciplinary programs, and experiential learning opportunities. They should be a strategic visionary leader with a highly relational approach, outstanding communication skills, and a strong work ethic. The role requires a leader who can inspire and engage with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners, and who is committed to the values of education and human development in the higher education landscape.
